Wallis Annenberg PetSpace Summer Camp: PET PIONEERS

Get ready for your kiddos to become Pet Pioneers during our one week summer camp experience!

Camp sessions take place Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm. The recommended age range for campers is 7-11. Campers will take part in fun pet-centric activities that will immerse them in topics like the human-animal bond, pet adoption, veterinary care, animal behavior and much, much more!

2025 PET PIONEER SESSIONS:

• June 16 - June 20
• July 7 - July 11
• July 21 - July 25
• August 11 - August 15

PET PIONEER CAMP themes include:

• Nutrition
• Exercise and Physical Therapy
• Photography
• Veterinary Medicine

Each day our couselors incorporate a new theme that makes the most of PetSpace's interactive indoor and ourtdoor spaces with live demonstrations from industry professionals, crafts, educational games, and more. Campers will meet a variety of pets and learn how to be responsible pet owners.

Each camper will receive:

• PET PIONEER activity journal
• PetSpace Kids Camp t-shirt
• PetSpace swag
• Camp supplies

CANCELLATION POLICY

For cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the first day of camp, a 100% refund will be issued.

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the first day of camp will receive a 50% refund.

Annenberg PetSpace reserves the right to cancel any program. In the event that a program is canceled, all program fees will be refunded.

COVID-19 Guidelines for Annenberg PetSpace

The safety of all our guest and staff is our number one priority. Wallis Annenberg PetSpace follows the guidelines and protocols set by the Los Angeles Department of Public Health and has implemented additional safety rules and regulations for any guests participating in our programs.

Please adhere to the following guidelines and processes outlined below:

Before coming to camp, parents should regularly check campers for following:

• Campers should be healthy
• Temperature is in normal range
• No cough or congestion
• There has been no recent contact with anyone that has a current confirmed positive COVID-19 test result.

Campers who test positive or show symptoms of any illness should not come to camp and stay home. We reserve the right to send campers home if they are showing signs of illness on a case-by-case basis.

We require vaccinations for all our staff and counselors.

Info: Lean about interpreting animal body language, positive reinforcement training, and tools & techniques used to shape behavior.

Info: Learn how pet grooming and hygiene tie into overall animal health. Then, hone your pet photography skills by capturing photos of PetSpace adoptable pets.

Info: Gain insight into what appropriate pet exercise looks like, and how activities like agility courses can provide enrichment for pets. You will also learn about pet physical therapy, and how exercise needs to be adjusted as a pets age.

Info: You can work in animal welfare! Learn about careers that center around the pets we love. Everyone is invited to join the fun in some final camp activities... be sure to brush up on your animal trivia! Last but not least, our Camp Commencement Ceremony.
