Speaker Series: Panic at the Astro!

Enjoy the night sky through the social media murk. Our series aims to bring local topic experts to the library to share their knowledge with the general community--everyone is welcome! A Q&A/discussion will follow each presentation.

Ed started learning the stars at age 4 because of a piece of wax paper. His father, Charlie, an Army Air Corp navigator from the sextant era, showed him Arcturus and took him on frequent strolls through the night skyscape. Ed is in his seventh decade of passing on that knowledge every chance he gets, through community events, private parties, and just being that voice in the darkness calling folk over to observe wonders, with his guide service EphemerADK.

Lifelong Learning for All will be held the first Wednesday of each month (except holidays) at 5:30 PM in the library auditorium.
