Bird Scouts: A Feathered Adventure at Parkville Nature Sanctuary!

Join Cub Scout Pack 4248 for a free, family-friendly birding hike at the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. Kids in grades K-5 (and their families) will become real "Bird Scouts" as we explore the trails, learn about local birds, and play fun nature games.

Activities include:

- A short kid-friendly hike with 3 bird-themed activity stops
- A bird scavenger hunt and nest-building relay
- Hands-on bird identification with photos and sounds clips
- A FREE raffle for a pair of kid-sized binoculars
- A bird feather for every Scout and future Scout’s hiking sticks (we’ll help tie them on)
- Popsicles at the end to cool down and celebrate!

This is a great way to get outside, meet other families, and learn what Cub Scouts is all about.
Open to all families with K-5th graders. Bring a friend!

What to Bring: Water bottles, hiking sticks (if you have one), bug spray, and your sense of adventure!
