Ninad is a promising Santoor player of his generation. He belongs to a family of musicians. His father and Guru Dr. Dhananjay Daithankar is a senior Santoor maestro while his mother Dr. Swati Daithankar is a Bharatnatyam exponent. So Having born into a family of musicians , Ninad was fascinated by the sound of Santoor from early childhood. At the age of 12, Ninad started receiving his formal training in Santoor from his father & Guru Dr. Dhananjay Daithankar ( Disciple of Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma) and he has been learning Santoor for past 12 years. Ninad has also completed M.A. ( Santoor ) from Bharati Vidyapeeth's performing centre with distinction.
Pranav Gurav, born into a musical family with a rich tradition of devotional music through the Pakhawaj, showed a natural inclination towards music from an early age. Beginning Tabla training at the age of 3 under his father, Milind Gurav, he later studied with renowned maestros including Pandit Nana Mulye, Shri Suresh Samant, and currently, Dr. Aneesh Pradhan of the Farrukhabad Gharana. He also receives guidance from his grandfather, Shri Maharudra Dhumal.
Pranav has grown into a versatile artist—working as a performer, composer, tutor, and music enthusiast. Passionate about both solo and accompaniment roles, he has collaborated with several stalwarts of Indian Classical Music. He actively shares his knowledge through workshops and mentoring.
Academically, Pranav holds degrees in commerce, law, and a master’s in music, and is currently pursuing a doctorate. He also leads the Kalanidhi Arts Foundation (KAF) in Pune, promoting Indian classical music through concerts and community initiatives.
