📢 Your Voice Matters: Tamarack Settlement Park Improvements

The Plainfield Park District is hosting a public meeting to discuss plans for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant for Tamarack Settlement Park.

🗓 Tuesday, August 19
🕠 5:30–7:30 p.m.
📍 Prairie Activity & Recreation Center, 24550 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield

Proposed features include:
🏏 Permanent cricket pitch (removing current ballfields)
🛝 Universally accessible playground with tot play & hillside play area
🎾 Hardcourt play options (pickleball, inline skating rink, and/or futsal) — based on YOUR feedback
🌅 Overlook deck at the pond
🌿 Improved accessibility & landscaping

💬 The design will be finalized based on input from this meeting and an online survey (Aug. 21–Sept. 5).
📅 If the grant is approved, construction is expected in 2026–2027.
