Plainfield Coop Annual Meeting!
Sunday, August 24th, 4pm at the Plainfield Opera House.
At this years annual meeting, we will elect new board members. We are filling four board positions. Here are the specifics:
1. Board terms are three years. Some members have served shorter terms.
2. We meet monthly via Zoom -- typically on Tuesday evenings -- with additional meetings as needed.
3. The total time commitment is about 4 to 8 hours per month. Additional volunteer tasks can add to the time commitment.
Having merged the two locations on Route 2 and successfully sold the village building, the Co-op is poised for growth. We have strong management and an excellent staff. Sales and new memberships are increasing. We are working our way through various capital improvements, having just added heat pumps for cooling and heating.
