Backpack Blessing & Church Picnic

Everyone is invited next Sunday, August 10 for the Blessing of the Backpacks and Church Picnic! Start the school year with blessings and celebrate summer together! Kids can bring along their backpacks (or just themselves) to be blessed during the worship service.

Following worship at the church, we will head to the Village Green Park, located one block west on Chicago street, to have a picnic! Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to pass. The Membership and Outreach Team will provide some chicken. We’re hoping for a beautiful day of fellowship and fun! Come join us!
