Plain City Summer Theatre Auditions 2025

This Summer, we are producing a one-act play called "Twain's Tales," in which townies are swapping stories of their life and folklore as the stories come to life through an ensemble cast of characters. In addition, we are workshopping of a new, original play called "Powderhorn!" about Jonathan Alder's time in the War of 1812 and the coup he staged to save he, his neighbors, and his family.

Auditions are Friday, May 16, from 5-8pm at the Pastime Park Youth Building. Auditions are rolling, so you can sign up to audition during one of the three hours or just join us the day of!
5-6 p.m.
6-7 p.m.
7-8 p.m.
No monologue required, but you may show us if you've prepared one. Auditions will comprise of cold-reading excerpts from both plays.

Seeking actors ages 16 and up!

"Twain's Tales" will perform August 1-3 at the Pastime Park Amphitheatre.

The workshop for "Powderhorn!" will be scheduled based on participant availability over the Summer and during the month of August.
