🎨 Color Our World: A Summer Reading Adventure for Grown-Ups! 📚
This summer, unleash your inner artist—and your inner bookworm—with Color Our World, our adult summer reading program inspired by the vibrant world of art, artists, and the kaleidoscope of diverse stories that bring life to our shelves (and maybe even to your soul).
Whether you're a Monet maniac, a Frida fanatic, or someone who just really likes adult coloring books and library air conditioning, this is your season to shine. We're diving into stories that celebrate creativity, culture, and the messy, marvelous art of being human. Expect reading challenges, crafty contests, and events that are 80% inspiration, 20% snacks (okay fine, maybe more snacks).
📅 Runs from June 30 to August 29 (BINGO cards can only be picked up on Monday & Tuesday from 4-8pm and must be returned by 4pm August 29th)
🎁 Prizes, programs, and plenty of chances to say “I totally meant to read that book anyway!”
🖌️ Art-themed activities for all skill levels—yes, even you with the stick figure portfolio.
Join us as we read across cultures, paint outside the lines, and color outside our comfort zones (but like, in a chill way). Because stories, like art, are way better when they’re full of different voices, bold ideas, and maybe just a dash of glitter.
