Berkshire Transgender Rights Town Hall (Pittsfield, MA)

The Transgender Rights Town Hall aims to create an open and productive dialogue around the increasingly targeted hostility and disinformation regarding transgender rights in Massachusetts and the USA.

This will serve as an opportunity for elected officials, residents, and transgender folx of the Berkshires to better understand common issues, rights, and paths to advocacy that preserve and model continuing the inclusive character of the Berkshires.

Bring your experiences, your stories, your questions, your compassion, your truth-seeking curiosity, and your self.

This town hall is sponsored by Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier, and organized by long-time Q-MoB subscriber Ephraim Schwartz.

As you may be aware, our State of Massachusetts recently partially voted through an anti-transgender sports ban. If you have questions about what that means or what transgender outcomes in sports generally look like: email Ephraim.

All Berkshire County Representatives and Senators have been invited to this Town Hall; Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier has accepted the invitation; Representative Leigh Davis has declined. We have not yet heard back from Representative John Barrett or Senator Paul Mark.
