Tarot- Reading Reversals

In tarot, we have 78 cards with which to make up the entire spectrum of the human experience and let’s face it, that just isn’t enough. That is why we use reversals.
The upside down of each card is not just its opposite, it's not just a retraction of all the good (or painful) each symbolizes. The reverse provides insight, clues and specificity that is not available when we only look at our cards in their upright position.
One of the most difficult parts of reading for oneself is the work of ensuring we are leaving our biases, our preferences and the things we want to hear at the door so we can receive the message as it is intended and be honest with ourselves. Making peace with the upside down, coming to terms with what it has to tell us, learning all the intricate details of both the upright and the inverse increases the depth of each message. It strengthens our relationship with tarot, with source and with ourselves.
This class is meant to facilitate not just a deeper understanding of tarot reversals but also a dialogue about what creates resistance. The goal is to leave better able to receive the message as it is intended so that we can utilize that information to our greatest good.
