We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Pittsburgh Tango Festival in 2025! Join us for a spectacular weekend celebrating Argentine Tango. The event will feature:

Friday-Sunday, June 27-29: Workshops and Milongas will be held at Wightman School Community Center, 5604 Solway St, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, 3rd Floor Ballroom and Studio space.
Friday Schedule:

8–9:30pm: Beginners' Intensive
8–9:15pm: Int/Adv. Workshop – Jessica & Somer

TOPIC: Preparation for Tango: a series of stretches to warm up your body for a full weekend of dancing!

TOPIC: Melodic vs. Rhythmic - Same movements, different interpretations, according to the music.

TOPIC: Variations of the Ocho Cortado to play with on the dance floor.
3:00–4:15pm: Intermediate Workshop – Eleonora
TOPIC: Improving the Connection – broadening the understanding of each other's roles and tango fundamentals to put you on the same page with your dance partner.
4:30–5:45pm: Advanced Workshop – Marcos & Florencia
TOPIC: Vals and the turn. Elasticity and compression of the embrace to create fluid transitions and quality of movements.
5:45–8:00pm: Break for Dinner
8:00pm–12:00am: Farewell Milonga – DJ Marcos
