Mother's Day Hip-Shake!

Pittsburgh! Are you ready to BELLY rock??
Kingfly is thrilled to welcome Jemeena Bellydancing to the Loft for an interactive afternoon of hip-shaking and belly-quaking! This might be the most unique way to spend a Mother's Day yet~

Movement, musicality and joy are on the menu as we explore upbeat contemporary music and moves in raqs sharqi (bellydance).
-No prior dance experience is required.
-Students should wear comfortable movement clothing and shoes, socks or bare feet.
-Bare bellies are optional- it’s up to you.
Class is $25 (see ticket link!)

Follow it up with live music by Ishtar from 4-7pm and practice a few of your new moves! Playing their own unique interpretation of Vintage Middle Eastern and Mediterranean folk melodies, Ishtar performs songs that were popular in the bellydancing nightclub scene during the mid-20th century. This exceptional fusion of traditional songs with surf rock elements has become: BellyRock. Come out and listen to some unique sounds and if you attend the class, we encourage you to do some practicing!
