Moon Hike and Observatory Moon Viewing

Have you ever noticed the moon in the sky during the day? This is an excellent oppurtunity to view it through Allegheny Observatory's telescope during daylight hours! Participants will also get a tour of the Observatory and learn about it's rich history. After an hour at the Observatory, participants will join Pittsburgh Park Rangers for an hour long hike in Riverview Park, stopping and learning about our local ecosystems along the way! We will also be visting the moon tree!

The hike will be on a moderate trail with elevation changes, please wear proper footwear and stay hydrated!
