Knitting 102 Workshop

Join us for a FREE, Knitting 102 Workshop at the Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse!Want to try knitting for the first time? Want to pick up knitting again after a long time? Want to tweak your knitting skills and/or see what other folks are making? After a successful first workshop, local fiber artist, Katy, is back to lead the knitting workshop you've been searching for. While this is the second class of the summer, newcomers are welcome! A brief handout of useful resources for knitters and would-be knitters will be supplied. There will be knitting needles and yarns on hand, especially for new knitters to try. Please feel free to bring in your own projects whether you are seeking guidance or not. Samples of knitting related projects using felting or upcycling will also be provided.

Creative Reuse is a supportive space, open to folks with any level of artistic ability. Our goal is to foster expression and creative community, not perfection. Just bring an open mind– we’ll cover the rest.
