Join CitiParks & Friends of Mellon Park as we "Fall In Love With Mellon Park"!
We are bringing together the North & South sides of Mellon Park to make sure Pittsburgh knows all about the magic that is Mellon Park! 2 Sides--1 Amazing Park! Not to mention it was named the City of Pittsburgh’s 1st Public Arboretum! There will be activities, tours & FREE family fun!
The North side of Mellon Park is geared toward recreation. Here you will find the Mellon Park Tennis Center, Mellon Spray Park & Playground, Permittable Picnic Pavilion, Ball Fields and Basketball Courts.
The South side of Mellon Park is geared toward more passive activities and quiet reflection. Here you will find the Walled Garden, Mellon Lawn (former site of original Mellon Mansion), the Terraced Gardens including the Elizabethan Herb Garden & Shakespeare Garden, walking paths, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, Phipps Conservatory Garden Center & CitiParks Community Enrichment Program Office in the Marshall Building.
