Elevated Salsa Shines - 6 week summer intensive with Katie

Think you only need partnerwork to be a great salsa dancer? Think again. This intensive is all about building the foundation behind the flash—because strong footwork is what gives you balance, rhythm, and confidence both in and out of partnerwork.

In this advanced beginner/intermediate shines class, you’ll learn classic shines, explore musicality, and develop control over your own movement—so when you do dance with a partner, you’re grounded, responsive, and expressive.

Footwork isn’t just solo work—it’s personal responsibility on the dance floor. And it’s one of the fastest ways to level up your timing, styling, and overall presence.

This course will help you:

• Improve your balance and precision
• Strengthen your timing and rhythm
• Feel more in control of your movement
• Gain confidence in your own dancing
