Ed Crawford Band w/ The Pooks, Creedmoors @ Poetry Lounge

Ed Crawford aka eddie fROMOHIO (the guy that was in fIREHOSE, Whiskeytown, Grand National, Southern Culture on the Skids, FOOD) has an excellent new band. ECB debuted in April at Mr. Smalls opening for MSSV (Ed's old buddy Mike Watt on bass) and kicked out the jams for a crowd pleasing set. Now Ed and the boys return on Friday August 15 for an intimate early show at the lovely Poetry Lounge, just down the street in Millvale. Opening is the intelligent aurally pleasing melodic guitar rock of Creedmoors and the 3-piece caveman riff-heavy noise of The Pooks. Get there early and get a hot dog... the show wraps up by 11
