Free Wine Tasting--La Spinetta

La Spinetta began in the 1960s with Giuseppe “Pin” Rivetti and his wife Lidia, farmers devoted to tradition and innovation. Their children continued the legacy, launching single-cru Moscatos in 1977 and expanding into red wines like Barbera and Barbaresco in the 1980s and ’90s.

They later added Barolo from Grinzane Cavour and founded a Tuscan winery in 2001 focused on Sangiovese. In 2011, they revived the historic Contratto sparkling wine house, and in 2018, began producing Timorasso in Tortona. Throughout, they’ve remained committed to indigenous grapes and the Piedmontese land.
