Premiere screening of "Worth Creek:"

Cinema Politica Ridge Meadows is partnering with local environmental activist and journalist Jack Emberly to host a premiere screening of his recent film: Worth Creek.

Why did hundreds of salmon and thousands of their eggs suddenly perish in Worth Creek, a salmon bearing stream east of Mission? Were other nearby creeks also affected? Seeking answers on this tragedy Jack teamed up with biologists John Werring, Dr. Marvin Rosenau and Matt Foy.

It’s ironic and sad that the information you’ll discover in this video would not be known by anyone if not for the incredible determination of the three retired biologists you’ll meet in this video. Without their knowledge, directed by the love of truth and justice for fish and habitat, this story of “massive” salmon destruction, may never have spread beyond the readers of a local newspaper called the Maple Ridge News.
