Join us for a brisk day out in nature bringing together Pitman Residents and active community groups!
Meet-Up Spot & Check-In!
The meeting spot and hike start will be held at Albert Ave/Hollywood Dell with parking at Memorial Elementary School.
Upon arrival, please check-in with PEC and Sustainable Pitman at our table! Hike Partners will have literature and information available at our table!
Hike Route & Details!
The hike is about 2.5 miles starting at the Hollywood Dell Trail at Memorial Elementary School- Albert Ave. We will cross over Lambs Rd., hike the "connector path" into Ceres Park, loop Ceres Park, cross Lambs Rd. again, and end at Hollywood Dell.
Families, children, and elders are welcome. This is an easy level hike with some gradient changes- it is accessible and appropriate for all ages.
Dogs on leash are welcome! Dogs must be leashed.
Please be sure you are physically fit to transverse the distance. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather!
Hike Mission!
The purpose of this hike is to (1) build community and collaboration (2) bring attention to the completion of grant funded work by Sustainable Pitman (Jimmy A) and Pitman Public Works (Fred) to enhance Holly Dell- making it more accessible with the new "Hollywood Dell Trail", (3) to bring attention to our parks and the multi-use recreational trails in our area- and the expansion of them, (4) to have a good time!
