🏕️ HSC Returns to Pismo Beach – Oct 16–20
California homeschool families are heading back to the coast for one of the most beloved events of the year—the Pismo Beach Campout.
This is not your average family camping trip. It's a full-blown coastal convergence of homeschoolers from across the state. Whether you’re new to the homeschool journey or a seasoned unschooling family, this campout is what you make it:
→ Relax on the beach.
→ Ride ATVs in the dunes.
→ Catch the parade at the historic Pismo Clam Festival.
→ Visit the Monarch Butterfly Grove.
→ Get lost in the corn maze.
→ Thrift downtown.
→ Or grab tickets to the Great American Melodrama, a classic local playhouse with interactive theatre, laughs, and vaudeville charm.
From open-mic nights (reserve the right to use marshmallow on a stick as a "mic" and sandcastle contests to shared meals, late-night laughter, and free-range kid friendships, this event is about building connection and community on your terms.
