Miami Conservancy District presents Wednesday at YWCA's Monthly Luncheon

Come gain information about how the Miami Conservancy District protects our community from flooding, preserves water & promotes recreation on the water at YWCA Piqua's Monthly Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

A MCD representative will speak about the organization’s mission of flood protection, water stewardship and recreation in the Miami Valley region since it was established in 1915 after the disastrous flood of 1913.

The luncheon will be held at the YWCA, located at 418 N. Wayne St., Piqua beginning with the program at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon for just $8. Be sure to RSVP your reservation by calling the YWCA Piqua at 937-773-6626 by 5 p.m. today on Monday, Oct. 6.
