Ballantyne’s Baker’s Dozen Half Marathon

Are you ready to run for more sweet treats? I know I am!

This will be our third bakery run. The first two were in uptown Charlotte and Matthews, and now we are venturing over to Ballantyne.

We haven’t finalized the list of which establishments we will visit or the route we will take to get to them all, but we should have something on the books within a week or so.

I wanted to get this out there now so you all could plan accordingly. We tried to pick a date we thought most people would be available. We avoided big race days that we knew about.

Many thanks to our run club members who reached out to offer up sweet suggestions/helpful route information. A big thanks to Geo of Ballantyne Running Club who has been integral in getting this donut rolling to the start line.

There’s a chance we may go a smidge longer than a half marathon so we can eat more delicious goodies. More miles mean more calories burned, so that should be okay, right? 😁 You can just pretend we’re a trail race and put -ish on the end of our distance. Hehe.
