The Repro Access Coalition of SWFL (RAC), a recent initiative of Lee County NOW, is establishing Repro & Flow Pantries at various locations in the Fort Myers area, including local businesses, food pantries, and homeless veteran outreach programs. We intend to expand services throughout Lee County, then Collier County, and beyond.
We are delighted to collaborate with Femina Global and Visuality, Inc (The Goldberg Center), and are proud global partners of the Maasika Mahotsav (Period Festival) @maasikamahotsav to present our first annual Repro & Flow Health Festival. May 28th is International Menstrual Hygiene Day. Our festival will focus on women's health, with a special emphasis on period and reproductive health on
Saturday, May 31st, 10 - 2pm.
📍 Fort Myers Villas Civic Association
2316 Sunrise Blvd, Ft Myers.
The first 100 participants will receive complimentary period products, courtesy of The Alliance for Period Supplies of SWFL & HerCare @hercareorg.
Discussions will cover historical and contemporary cultural perspectives on menstruation (Red Tent, Croning, etc.).
The McGregor Clinic, Inc. . will provide free STI/STD & HIV testing.
There will be vendors, food trucks, books, raffles, and activities for children.
