"Blues By Budweiser" - Chad Marshall Band

On Saturday, June 7, 2025 the "Blues By Budweiser" concert series will feature the "Chad Marshall Band”. The event will be held at RJ's Grill & Bar located at 128 S. Main in downtown Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Doors will open at 7 PM, music will begin at 8 PM. Port City Blues Society members are admitted free, only $5 cover for others. The concert series is being sponsored by M.K. Distributors.

Chad Marshall's music is a fusion of true Delta Blues with modern Rock N Roll and a touch of Southern Soul. Chad was mentored by an Arkansas Blues Master, Saint Thomas Jenkins. Chad’s original songs are often inspired by his own personal experiences, which he uses to create powerful and emotionally charged storytelling through music. His skillful finger picking and outstanding freestyle leads draw directly from the Delta Blues tradition.

Chad's guitar prowess and soulful vocals are complemented by his bandmates, who are equally talented musicians that bring energy and excitement to every performance. Carl Bass on drums and C. Roscoe Willis on bass each bring years of experience to the trio. The band is a true power trio that has been touring together extensively throughout the South, playing at numerous festivals and venues.

The band released an album last year, “Made to Suffer”, featuring 12 great Delta Blues tracks recorded at Spiraling Media Studio. The band also competed in the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, representing the Ozark Blues Society of Northwest Arkansas.
