Community Informational Meeting

The Arkansas State University Heritage Sites, established more than a quarter of a century ago, is pursuing designation as a National Heritage Area. A program committee has been established for this purpose and a feasibility study will be conducted. An information meeting will be held at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum in Piggott at 4pm on Monday, August 18.
The public is invited to attend the in-person community meeting to find out more about the process and discuss the places, natural resources, and history that create the Arkansas Delta area. Additional meetings will be held elsewhere in the Delta throughout the year.
