PPBRGS August Meeting

Chad LeBlanc will give a presentation on the Valenzuela settlement which was located along Bayou Lafourche just south of Donaldsonville. Many of the Spanish families that came to the Pierre Part area originally settled there. Families like the Albarado, Acosta, Alleman, Ascano (Eskine), Cavalier, Diaz, Domingue, Falcon, Fernandez, Gonzales, Hernandez, Medine, Monson, Morales, Perera, Rivere, Sanchez, Solar and Suarez families.
