SOLOMON plays DYLAN
A solo acoustic tribute to Bob Dylan featuring Gary Solomon of The THE BAND Band
There is perhaps no more influential, profound, or enigmatic songwriter in history than Bob Dylan. His music has been played, covered, copied, reworked, reinvented, and reconstructed possibly more than any other songwriter in history, by everything from rock bands to jazz combos to concert orchestras. Many of his songs, particularly from his younger days as a folk singer, have become an integral part of the American songbook, and have garnered countless awards and honors around the world.
Gary Solomon, co-founder of the acclaimed tribute to The Band, The THE BAND Band, has been performing Dylan's songs, both as a solo performer and with numerous rock bands for more than 40 years.
Playing guitar and harmonica in "Solomon plays Dylan," he performs a broad selection of Dylan’s vast and extraordinary catalog, with emphasis on the 60s and 70s era and a choice selection of later material.
