About the event

Hay bale grazing technique for winter fodder
Join Canterbury farmer Deane Parker discussing new innovations in winter grazing, with a focus on hay bale grazing. Hay bale grazing is one wintering system which is proving to deliver promising outcomes for farmers, soil, animal health and the environment.
Deane Parker and Melissa Scarlett, 50/50 sharemilkers in Hororata, are passionate about regenerative farming. They’ve led bale grazing trials to improve soil health, animal welfare, and farm resilience, and share their learnings through the Canterbury Regenerate Grazing Group.

Havelock Town Hall, supper room.
Light lunch provided, so registrations essential: https://landcare.org.nz/nzltmis2/form_events_registration/form_events_registration.php?gxEvent_ID=622
