Our 24 Hours of Heroes June #OPRemember2025 workout is a 10km Silent Ruck, and we invite you to join us to complete as a group, or tackle on your own.
Our Pickering meet up will be at Alex Robertson Park (Pickering) at 9:30am on Saturday, June 28th, led by 24 HOH Team Member, Jenn Lymburner, and Wounded Warriors Ambassador, Darcy Wood.

FOR TIME:
10km ruck (30/20lbs), in silence*
“The quieter you become the more you are able to hear” - Rumi
We often tend to fill quiet rooms with music, television or some other background noise. For many of us, silence can feel uncomfortable especially when we are with others.
Research shows that silence can create space for healing and reflection in a world where we are constantly bombarded with noise.
This Silent Ruck is meant to challenge us to embrace the many benefits of silence. Participants are encouraged to ruck silently with a partner or group, and use this time of shared silence to reflect on how we can continue to honour and remember the fallen and support those living with operational stress injuries.
*Please note: If a 10km ruck is not yet realistic for you, we'd still love for you to join. You can complete as a walk (no pack) or even shorten the distance as needed.
