Please join us for a continuing class on the Tarot! We will begin with an introduction to reading the Tarot! Our class will meet once a week, beginning on March 24th, from 7:00 – 9:00. For the class, you will need a Smith-Rider-Waite Tarot deck, a notebook, and a pen or pencil for taking notes. You may want to include a folder of some sort in your notebook for class handouts.
Classes will meet in my studio at 142 Quick Street, Phoenixville, PA 19464. Classes will be $30 per week. If you pay for all ten classes at once, the cost will be $240, a 20% savings!
The classes will be as follows (after the tenth class, we will follow a more open format with a theme for each week):
Week One: An Introduction to Tarot
In this introduction class, we will learn what makes a Tarot deck a Tarot deck and not an oracle deck. We will take a look into symbols, images, numbers, and suits in the deck and how we can interpret them in readings. We will do preliminary beginner’s readings with the knowledge we have from today’s class.
