Youth Sewing 101 (Age 12-17)

Native youth can learn how to use a sewing machine and sew their own pouch. Led by PIC Young Elder Mentor, Kathleen Tom-Garcia.

About this Event

We invite Native youth, aged 12-17, to attend a hands-on class led by Young Elder Mentor Kathleen Tom-Garcia! Youth will learn how to use a sewing machine, sew and create their own medicine pouch, and explore the meanings of traditional medicines used in Native cultures.

Date: December 7th

Time: 9am-3pm
