The Vintage Base Ball Association’s 2026 Conference is a three-day public celebration of the game’s roots. Hear from historians, authors, former Major League talent, and scholars who bring the early game to life. Explore Arizona’s baseball legacy, the birth of statistics, historic ballparks, and the overlooked characters who shaped America’s pastime.
On Saturday afternoon, the history leaves the lecture hall and takes the field. The All-Comers Vintage Base Ball Match showcases the game as it was played in the 1860s—wood bats, underhand pitching, period rules, and no modern theatrics. Authentic. Competitive. Alive.
No expertise required. Just curiosity.
