The Arsen Nalbandian Quintet – Tribute to Clark Terry

This tribute show will feature hard-swinging compositions by Clark Terry as well as some of his well-known arrangements of Great American Songbook standards.

Arsen Nalbandian is a jazz pianist, composer, and arranger based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. His latest release, In Depth, is a piano trio album dedicated to the arranging styles of Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans. Utilizing selections from classic Great American Songbook standards, each tune explores elaborate and more involved arranging techniques that one could closely associate to the writings of big band music.
