Our local community of traditional storytellers continue their monthly series of Phoenix Folklore Friday! The evening is curated by Chrissy and Rachelle Dart, featuring traditional storytellers and tunesmiths from around the Valley and the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute. October’s event is “Shadows in the Mist”, stories and songs that make you think twice.
Join us for an evening of traditional stories and songs that allow for a pause to reconnect with each other, to honor the past, and to reawaken our kinship with nature.
The evening commences at 7:30pm. There usually is a break between the two hours to grab a drink and a snack, unless we have some cancellations. Then we will run the session straight through.
As always, the skill of the oral storyteller will ensure that the stories are appropriate for the audience.
