On Friday Oct. 3 Phoenix City Grille invites wine enthusiasts to an exclusive wine pairing dinner featuring Justin Vineyards and Winery.
Hosted by Hailey Wells this dynamic dining experience begins at 6 p.m. with a welcome pour of Justin Rosé a crisp and refreshing wine with bright notes of strawberry raspberry and citrus. The pairing menu is as follows:
First Course: Seared Scallops and Sweet Corn Puree—Golden-seared scallops over silky roasted corn purée with pickled Fresno chile crispy pancetta and corn husk ash oil.
Paired with Justin Sonoma Chardonnay
Second Course: Wild Mushroom Risotto and Parmesan Crisp—Creamy risotto with mascarpone and aged parmesan topped with parmesan crisp and finished with truffle essence and porcini dust.
Paired with Justin Cabernet Sauvignon
Third Course: Grilled Colorado Lamb Chops and Root Vegetables—Herb-marinated lamb chops with roasted root vegetables and charred cipollini onions finished with red wine-rosemary jus and herb gremolata.
Paired with Justin Justification
Fourth Course: Blackberry Clafoutis and Vanilla Cream—Blackberry custard tart with vanilla bean Chantilly cream blackberry coulis candied orange peel and dark chocolate.
