Modern Japanese Rice Bucket with Guest Teacher Lori

Come join Lori to make a Modern version of the Japanese Komebukuro pouch traditionally used in Japan to make rice offerings. This unique version can be used for a project bag, make-up storage, wrangle small bits and bobs, fill with baked goodies to give as a gift, or your sewing room catch-all.

While learning how to make this cinched bucket bag, you will learn to parallel quilt, construction for round bucket bag, how to add tabs and finally how to finish the cord ends.

Perfect project for scraps, fat quarters or fabrics you have left over but not enough for larger projects.

Lori will include the pattern in the class along with instruction on how to make your own.
