The Parent & Me Basic Firearms Course is a family‑centered training experience designed to help parents and children learn safe, responsible handgun handling together. This course introduces essential firearm safety rules, range etiquette, parts and function of a pistol, proper grip and stance, loading and unloading procedures, and marksmanship fundamentals—all in a supportive, age‑appropriate environment.
Parents participate alongside their child, modeling safe habits, discipline, and ethical firearm ownership while building confidence and competence as a team. Through classroom instruction, hands‑on practice, and closely supervised live‑fire exercises, families strengthen both technical skills and communication around safety and responsibility.
