Creative Aging Showcase & Celebration

Join us as we celebrate the creativity, dedication, and community of our Creative Aging participants (adults 55+) who took part in this year’s Beaded Bracelet Workshop with Moontee Sinquah (Hopi/Tewa/Choctaw) and the Baby Moccasins & Beadwork Workshop with Taylor Susan (White Mountain Apache/Walker River Paiute).

This special event showcases the beautiful artwork created by students 55 and better under the guidance of the master artists. Guests will have the opportunity to view participants’ beadwork, connect with artists, and uplift the spirit of learning, creativity, and community that continues to thrive through the Heard Museum’s Creative Aging program.

All are welcome to attend and support our participants, plus enjoy a special dance performance by Moontee and Sampson Sinquah at 12 p.m.
