Through shared rhythms of cycling, participants come together to celebrate the rich heritage and ongoing contributions of Indigenous peoples.
A social-paced bike ride uniting the cycling community in celebration and recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day. The ride aims to honor Indigenous cultures, acknowledge the ancestral lands of the region, and promote unity and awareness within the cycling community.
Cultural Cadence Cycle:
The rhythm, flow, and continuity of cultural practices, traditions, and values over time. In the context of a cycling event it symbolizes the harmonious movement and unity of participants as they ride together, reflecting on the ongoing and dynamic nature of Indigenous cultures. The word "cadence" here suggests a steady, rhythmic pace that honors and preserves cultural heritage while moving forward with purpose and respect.
