10 SUMMIT CHALLENGE
Created when Timothy Bolen was diagnosed with a terminal cancer. Upon receiving his first date for chemo he and his friend Paul McGowan set out to climb Piestawa 10 times straight to say FU Cancer the day before his treatment! Now going into the 6th year of the 10 Summits, more than 20 friends and strangers take on the challenge. Tim does this annual challenge to prove by doing hard things he can face and beat the hard times when they arise. Anyone can take on this challenge and prove to themselves they are just as ready. Life is hard. No way around it. But being prepared will most certainly make it easier.
Climb starts at 5am and each person will continue until they have completed all 10 summits. Tim is hopeful to be finished by 5pm. Those who want to embrace the climb and the purpose behind it are welcome to do 1, 2 or all 10. The hard is only defined by each individuals believe. Are you ready to take the challenge?
