Angkor Classique is Cambodia’s only regularly performing classical music ensemble. Formed by Leo Salazar (the US), Glenn Pian (France)), Noah Ameer Al-Malt (the US) and Miri Cho (South Korea) we present to our audiences the music of the Western Baroque period: Haydn, Beethoven and Mozart, among others.
Angkor Classique was started as a modern music ensemble, the Pierrot Ensemble. A small group of musicians from Europe and the US gathered to explore classical music, and the instrumentation and interests steered us toward the music of Arnold Schoenberg. With a gradual turnover of personnel combined with demand from the market, the group has gravitated towards baroque music.
Whether being featured artists onstage in front of a dedicated audience, or providing pleasant background music for events, Angkor Classique is the number one classical music ensemble. Traveling to exclusive locations throughout SE Asia is also an option.
