Transformation Award (LTA) Applicant Support

Join a member of the Leeway staff for a one-to-one in-person applicant support session. This is a chance to get direct feedback on your Transformation Award (LTA) application before the May 15th deadline.

Drop-in sessions do not require an appointment and will be held from 10:00am-3:00pm. Though no appointment is necessary, we encourage you to RSVP through Eventbrite so we can have a rough estimate and prepare for how many folks might join us.

Snacks and light refreshments will be available.

The Leeway Transformation Award (LTA) provides unrestricted annual awards of $15,000 to women, trans*, and gender nonconforming artists and cultural producers living in greater Philadelphia who create art for social change and have done so for the past five years or more, demonstrating a long-term commitment to social change work. The session will take place on the first floor of Fleisher Art Memorial, an ADA accessible space. There are five steps to enter the building, which is wheelchair accessible through use of a stair lift. The session will take place in the Sanctuary, approximately 45 feet away from the main entrance and down 2-3 steps into and across the gallery space. A wheelchair ramp is also available to access the Sanctuary. There are gender neutral restrooms in the lobby near the main entrance. Fleisher offers free parking in the lot across the street, and includes designated accessible parking spaces. The sidewalk surface varies and there is a curb cut at the corner of 7th and Catharine.

ASL interpretation and childcare available by request when you RSVP by Wednesday, April 30. Please let us know if you require these or any other accommodations in the event registration form. We’ll do our best to accommodate.
