Philadelphia Train Ride

Get ready to put those walking shoes on as we explore Philadelphia!!

We are kicking off our summer field trip series with a fun train ride to Philadelphia! Join us as we jump on the train from Newark, ride the train through Wilmington and jump off at the Suburban station. From there, we will walk a block to the iconic Love sign in John F Kennedy Plaza and Love Park and onward to the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia. We will complete a 1 hour guided tour here and once done, head to the Reading Terminal Market just 2 blocks over for lunch/ snacks. Once reenergized after lunch, we will pop over to Chinatown for some exploration before catching the train back through Wilmington and into Newark.

Cost: This trip will vary based on the amount of friends riding the train, what you purchase at the Reading Terminal Market, and what may or may not be purchased along the way.

Since we will be having a guided tour, we will be collecting $5 per child to secure your spot on the trip. I must be able to give our guides the most appropriate headcount available. Please note that this is for homeschooling and school aged children.
