WHO WE ARE/MAY 2025 Program List and Details
Philadelphia Animation Society has been screening Japanese anime and related programming since September 1982. Our monthly event is one of the few remaining venues for watching and discussing anime and enjoying related activities in a social setting. We feature a full program mix of classic and current animation, anime, tokusatsu, live action and 3D series, features, films, shorts and specials from around the world. We also have one or two vendors and light refreshments and you are welcome to bring your own food.
Join us every second Saturday evening of every month. Things get started at 5pm. All ages welcome. (Under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.)
LOCATION AND TRAVEL DETAILS
This month, we are in Griffin Hall, the big main hall in the basement of the church. You can enter at the front at the bottom of the stepwell. For those driving, there is street parking and also several lots within a 2-block radius. SEPTA bus and rail transit access is very convenient. We're right next to the famous Mutter Museum. There's lots of other shopping, museums, restaurants, markets and convenience stores in the area, too, so consider making a day of it!
