Opera on Tap is All Fached Up!

Opera on Tap Philly is excited to bring one of our favorite shows, All Fached Up, to Glory! We'll be in Old City on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7:00pm.

What is a fach? You may be familiar with the classificiations of singers like soprano, mezzo, or tenor, but a fach is even more specific to range, weight, and color of the voice. Not every soprano sings Queen of the Night (Coloratura Soprano), and not all singers are suited to Wagner (Dramatic voices, like Heldentenor or Heldenbariton).

Classical singers are often put into these boxes, but with All Fached Up, this is a no-rules show! Performers are encouraged to sing whatever they want, gender bend, dress in drag, do what we can't do in a typical performance setting!
