Comedy and Short Theatre Summer Showcase

Welcome to the Comedy and Theatre Summer Showcase! A unique entertainment offering that combines the best comedy talent in Philadelphia with performances of plays by rising playwrights in the tri-state area.

The show will be held at the 100-seat Bob and Selma Horan Theatre in the Hamily Family Arts Center, of the Arden Theatre Company. Our venue is located on the second floor at 62 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

The run of show is: Comedy Portion (4 sets), Intermission, Theatre Portion (3 short plays), Reception. The price of your ticket includes entry to the post-show reception.

Join us when doors open at 6:30pm for access to the cash bar!

The evening is being hosted and produced by comedian and playwright .

The standup portion of the evening begins at 7:00pm and will include performances by:

: host of who has performed at majors clubs across the country including The Comedy Studio Boston, DC Comedy Loft, and Greenwich Village Comedy Club NYC.

: co-founder of and practicing attorney.

: co-host of the reality TV podcast who has opened for national acts such as Dave Attell and Shane Gillis, and was a featured performer at the Moontowner JFL Comedy Festival in Austin, TX.

: co-host of the comedy travel podcast who has toured nationally with acts such as Sarah Silverman and Bob Saget, and can be seen in his breakout television role as Kyle the Liar on Netflix's comedy series "Tires".

Following a brief intermission from 8:00-8:15pm, we'll see performances of three short plays from 8:15-9:00pm.

The price of your ticket includes entry to a lightly catered reception on the first floor of the Arts Center between 9:00-10:00pm.
