Caricatures on the Ave with Deconstructed Love

Come join us for a fun-filled evening of caricature drawings at Nutmeg Bar and Market!

You may have encountered Drew Blatt (@deconstructed_love) before at Departed or another local Philly artist fair--now, see him in his element in a full-blown caricature workshop at Nutmeg Bar and Market on East Passyunk!

This workshop will be an introductory course for anybody interested in learning caricature techniques, and a bit of history about caricature art as a genre. Perfect for a fun avant-garde date night for you and partner, or a bestie!

Drawing materials provided, but guests are still encouraged to bring their own!

About the artist:

Drew Blatt is a Philadelphia-based artist and designer originally from Bucks County. In 2023, he moved to Port Richmond to immerse himself in the city’s vibrant art scene and reduce his commute between events. Drew has participated in numerous art shows, showcasing a diverse range of creative mediums and styles. His abstract caricatures stand out as a signature work—playfully blending traditional caricature with expressive abstraction. Through bold lines and unexpected compositions, he captures a unique likeness that redefines portraiture with a dynamic, exaggerated twist.
