Welcome to the Keep’n It Cool Block Party in Petersburg, Virginia!

Cool Beanz Café is excited to host the Keep’n It Cool Block Party on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, right here in the heart of Downtown Petersburg along Sycamore Street (between Washington and Franklin Streets).

This event is part of a growing effort to spotlight and uplift Petersburg’s Historic Downtown District, celebrate local entrepreneurs, and bring meaningful visibility to the small business community.

The Keep’n It Cool Block Party is a vibrant, multicultural family event that will feature:

• Live music and local entertainment
• Gospel choir performances
• Food and health demonstrations
• Kid-friendly activities and giveaways
• Small business vendors, pop-ups, and more

This is more than just a street fair—it's a celebration of economic growth, community connection, and the powerful resurgence of our downtown business corridor.

If your business is located along or near the Sycamore Street event footprint, you have first priority to vend or promote your business during the block party at no cost.

Here are a few options you can consider:

• Vend in front of your storefront (products, food, samples, etc.)
• Distribute materials or giveaways
• Host a quick demonstration or mini workshop
• Collaborate with other local entrepreneurs to co-host a table
• Sponsor or co-brand a portion of the event

If you do not wish to use your space, please let us know, as we will assign available sidewalk spots to external vendors starting May 20.

• Vendor Fee: $100
• Set-Up Time: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
• Breakdown: Immediately after 3:00 PM
• Requirements: Must provide your own table, tent, chairs, and power if needed
